Dear festival-goers,

Huge thanks to everyone who managed to get their registrations to us before the May 1st deadline.  There are now 31 choirs and over 550 people registered for the festival so it’s definitely going to happen!!!  With choirs attending from as far afield as Bury and Brighton, Whitby and West Wales; old hands, relative newbies and complete first-timers; and (perhaps for the  first time?) some international guests in the shape of the lovely HeartCore from Germany,  it’s going to be a fabulously diverse event.

If you still haven’t registered and you’d like to, please see our FAQs for more information.  It’s not too late, but please note that some opportunities may no longer be available if your choir has not yet registered.

Dear festival-goers,

PLEASE NOTE – THE DEADLINE FOR REGISTRATION IS SATURDAY 1ST MAY

That’s only 2 weeks away!  We know that many choirs will have been on a spring break over the past couple of weeks, so please do make a renewed effort to get your booking forms in to your choir rep when you return to regular rehearsals.

As organisers, we need to know how many people to expect as soon as possible, as some things can’t be planned until we have a good idea of numbers.  This year we’re also facing a tough funding climate, so some of our decisions about spending cannot be made until we know how much income we have generated in registration fees.

So please do get those forms in to us as soon as possible!

Hi everyone – well, the registrations are rolling in and we’re getting very excited about actual people and choirs arriving in Sheffield come July!  Our wonderful Mistress of Registration, Rosie, is wielding applications, cheques and requests like a demon of administrative efficiency.  However – we do have a request to help her out …

Please don’t send registration forms individually – you’ll need to appoint a choir rep, gather all the applications from your choir and send the individual forms and payments TOGETHER with your choir registration form.  It just makes everything easier to keep track of.

Thanks for this, and apologies if it wasn’t clear enough on the forms.
